Assessments

Each module is delivered and assessed over a 5 week period successively. The assessment are conducted through 4 Knowledge Check Questions (4×5%), an assignment (20%) and a project (60%). To pass a module a final combined mark of 50% is required.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Higher Certificate in Project Management, the student should be able to:

  • Understand and use risk management analysis techniques that identify the factors that put a project at risk and to quantify the likely effect of risk on project timescales;

  • Distinguish between the different types of the project and follow the stages needed to negotiate an appropriate contract; and
  • Develop a project plan and change control systems to integrate the various project elements.
